작업의 배경인 작업의 배경인 공장은 이성적 사고로 만들어진 복잡한 기계 시스템으로 현대 미술에서 개념적이고 감각적인 텍스트를 발휘하는 작업을 은유해본 것이다. 또한 대량 생산되는 작업들이 브랜드화 되는 과정 혹은 그런 순간들을 비틀어 본 것이다. 본능을 대변하는 들개와 이성을 대변하는 공장의 시스템과 능구렁이 그리고 애꾸눈 코스프레를 해온 공장 주인은 작가 자신을 대변한다. 외관상 아무런 문제가 없던 공장과 능구렁이는 갑작스러운 들개의 등장으로 즐거운 오류가 나기 시작한다. 소모적이고 반복 재생되는 작업 활동이 아니라 말 그대로 순수한 창작활동이 지속되기 위해서는 들개와 능구렁이가 붙었다 떨어지듯 이성과 본능의 갈등과 균형이 중요하다고 생각한다. 그만큼 경험에 의한 본능과 잘 정리된 이성적인 사고와의 관계가 어느 하나 과함 없이 조화를 이루는 과정이 작업의 본질이라 생각해본다.

A factory based in this video as a complexed mechanical system, which is created with the rationality has metaphorized in conceptual and sensual texts performed in the context of contemporary art. Moreover, an artist ‘BAE YOON HWAN’ intends to twist the branding procedure for works of art in the mass production and its conducting moment.The hunting dog represented as the instinct, the system of the factory for the rationality respectively and the asian snake or one-eyed man are cosplayed as an artist himself. On the surface, the mediocre factory and the asian snake begin to be taken place as pleasurable errors due to hunting dog’s emergence. To be literally continued to practice authentic works of art, it is not the wasteful and repeating practiced art creation. However, it is important to conflict and balance between the rationality and the instinct like the hunting dog and the asian snake are to be close and be apart. Likewise, the harmonizing process of correlation between the instinct being based on the experience and well-organized logical minds, which is not to be extremely weighed in any one side is the essence of works of art.
